I can't say I've been doing much searching around for hints on the internet, for fear of reading spoilers.
Let us know how Bad Twin is, so we know whether it's worth picking up or not (in a non-spoilerish way, please ).

Yeah i'm the same ken. I like the whole idea of all the theories but i just want the actual series to tell me the answers I have to avoid this thread each time i fall behind.
haven't read the recent-ish posts in this thread 'cos i've only just got around to watching the final double episode, but all i've got to say is.... jim bloody robinson
haha yeah that certainly made me laff! It made me realise that it is just a tv show after all! Neighbours...everybody needs good neighbours
btw....let me just get this straight. Raymonds button pressing pal in the bunker/hanger is the American officer that captured Saeed during the Iraq war?

It's Desmond (not Raymond) but yes, you're right! It was bugging me where I'd seen him before in this season... Well spotted

That had been bugging me too, i knew i'd seen him somewhere before....wow good spot! So can we assume that "the others" may be ex-military?
I'm assuming when we resume the story in season 3 and Saaid arrives to rescue Jack, Kate and Sawyer it should be pretty good when the two of them meet. Roll on season 3!!!

well
desmonds button pressing partner is kinda dead. so he can't meet saaid.
shame desmond can't meet libby too.. that would've been a surprise
edit:
i kinda missed the whole persephone thing..
what does that mean?
It's 106 miles to Chicago.
We got a full tank of gas,
half a pack of cigarettes.
It's dark and we are wearing sunglasses

why on earth did i write Raymond I've watched the whole of series 1 and i'm going through series 2 again because someone in my household decided that they are suddenly interested ! Quite interesting what you pick up on the 2nd time around
I keep thinking that Desmonds button pressing pal is the fake beard wearing guy from the others....hence my confusion and why i thought there would be conflit when Saaid comes to rescue Jack, Kate and Sawyer.
Is Desmonds button pressing guy dead then? When did he die? I though desmond left him at the cliff edge when he had to race back to press the button (when he crash flight 815)

He hit the back of his head against a rock and blood was pouring out from the wound. He was also motionless. I'd say he's dead.
But I could also see him being brought back as a shock reveal later, claiming he survived somehow.
By the way, I heard season 3 doesn't start until October.

Persephone is not in the series, she's a 'character' who's 'hacking' the Hanso Foundation website and exposing them as frauds etc.
The stuff on the Hanso site isn't designed to be spoiler material, more background info on whats going on, so you can read it and poke around without ruining the series. It's all part of the 'Lost Experience', which also includes 'Bad Twin'.

Season 3 will focus more on newwe characters from Oceanic 815, namely more of the people you see wandering aimlessly around on the beach. Also, Jin & Sun's baby will feature prominently in season 3.
