What Are You Listening To Now?

The Music Discussion forum has replaced the old Lyrics and Samples forum and the Live Scene and Music Reviews forum. This forum is used to discuss anything relating to Music including Orbital topics, the live scene including Orbital gigs past, present and future. This section is an ideal place to post your live gigs reviews and album / single reviews. This forum can also be used to discuss Orbital lyrics and samples. The website will never disclose or confirm samples for legal reasons - so this is the next best thing.

Dream Frequency - Take Me (Prodigy Mix)

Lovely bangin oldskool.

I'm so very much waiting for oldskool rave (breakbeat) hardcore to make a come back like a lot of the late eighties electronic music styles have done recently in different forms. :)

re kvagga... Yea, I was lucky enough to get a copy of the CD-single from second-hand sources. It's fantastic, aside from the "censored edit"! :P

Someone's iPod at work. Just went from Ils' 'No Soul' to the Airwolf theme tune.

edit: and then 'Style'. Good tunes.

Blockhead - Triptych pt. 2

Going through Music By Cavelight (an album by Blockhead). Pretty nice chilled Ninja Tune triphop/instrumental hiphop stuff, although nothing groundbreaking. One thing I love about this CD are the chipmunk vocals. There's never too much chipmunk vocals! :D

Oh and Kansler, yeah the censored version of FTM, although funny, is incredibly annoying. The only bleepsound more annoying in a song is probably the long, tinnitus-type one in Ventolin. :)

Kruder & Dorfmeister's Conversion mix from '96. In those days d'n'b was good :)
