The new England manager! what do you think?
Bad choice but at least he is english. Its a shame Pearce isnt more experienced as we could do with someone who has big balls and has a lot of passion for his country. I would have liked fat Sam or O'Neil more than Mclaren.
McClaren

He's too inexperienced and far too boring.
No English manager has the experience.
Scolari is a homophobic admirer of Pinochet, allegedly.
Hiddink would have been perfect but the FA pissed him off by summoning him for an interview.
The FA couldn't organise a pissup in a brewery.
Wenger should have been invited to apply but Dein put his club first. Should resign.
Barwick should be second-top on the pointless tossers list.
Apart from that everything's great at the FA.

Slugs! HE created slugs! They can't hear. They can't speak. They can't operate machinery. Are we not in the hands of a lunatic?
We shouldn't chose a manager because he's English, we should chose the best man for the job.
I would prefer an Englishman, but I don't think any of the English candidates are good enough. I would have chosen Scolari (but then, so did the FA depending on who you believe).
I'll give Steve 'Entertainment' McClaren a chance though...
I hope Pearcy will get the job in a few years time because he is a NATIONAL HERO.
I agree, the FA is a total waste of space, you never get anywhere running things by committee - we need LEADERSHIP!

Agreed with a few of the comments so far....
Pearce - Experience or not his passion for winning is second to none. Something Ericsson never had. Agreed he will make a quality England manager in the years to come and i can not ever see the papers doing anything but backing the guy.

Scolari - No way...the guy cant speak english...how on earth can you communicate with your players during a match let alone on the training ground. He may have been a world cup winner with Brazil 4 years ago but whats he acheived with Portugal...ok he took them to the Euro finals but lets face it, they shouldnt have been there should they...we were robbed!
Allardyce - Had my vote over McClaren from the beginning, has the Passion, expertise and respect of the fans. Its a shame they didnt give Big Sam a chance.
McClaren - Lets give the guy a chance and see what he can do before we judge him, there is no denying what he has achieved with Boro this season. If he can install the same belief into the England squad then who knows... [/img]
