What Are You Listening To Now?

The Music Discussion forum has replaced the old Lyrics and Samples forum and the Live Scene and Music Reviews forum. This forum is used to discuss anything relating to Music including Orbital topics, the live scene including Orbital gigs past, present and future. This section is an ideal place to post your live gigs reviews and album / single reviews. This forum can also be used to discuss Orbital lyrics and samples. The website will never disclose or confirm samples for legal reasons - so this is the next best thing.

Nine Inch Nails - A warm place
"You know, just simple lines intertwining, you know, very much like - I'm really influenced by Mozart and Bach, and it's sort of in between those, really. It's like a Mach piece, really"

Dead Can Dance - Dawn of the iconoclast.

Maybe this is old news, but Future Sound Of London must haven taken the vocal sample they used on "Papua New Guinea" from this track.

You don't have to convert me to the Korn fold, I've been a fan since day 1... Saw their first UK gig :D

Claude Von Stroke - "Deep Throat" (Sebastien Leger Mix)

Great tune with brilliant messed up vocoder samples and this mix is an acid monster.

yup.
a remix pack of all the samples from png was released on a cover cd with, i think, future music.
i got the majority of the .wavs off someone on soulseek, but then the files disappeared from his shares  & elsewhere i found mp3s of most if not all of the samples.
i dunno tho, maybe png has had enough remixes  (personally i'm generally happy to stick with hybrid's or the original...)
