Here's a link to a short film I came accross while searching for some old paintball videos I once had.

I think there will be a few people here who will really appreciate this. It contains some varioius experiments on liquids filmed in slow motion. The final experiment shows the effects of an individual being pelted by a small object at a high velocity. Sound familiar? Good music with it too.

I remember when Graham Coxon made beautiful songs like this.

Shame most of his current stuff is indie pap.

Having never seen it before, I stayed up last night to watch Channel 4's screening of The Green Mile.
I wasn't disappointed. What an amazing and emotional film!

Stunning film. It's looooong but you never get bored. I was gripped from start to finish.

Went to a press screening of new Bruce willis film 16 blocks

was damn good fun bruce as an aged cops saving a guys witnesses life.

I dont know anyone who dislikes Green Mile except me. It just didnt really click with me. Score is good though...Thomas Newman

Finally saw "King Kong" tonight. Quite an amazing remake - typical blockbuster. I cant complain about the romance after all it is a love story

One thing that this version and the original never really explains...how on earth did they get him on the ship!

I still haven't watched it, despite rating "The Shawshank Redemption" (yes, I know, but I was one of the few people who actually saw it at the cinema - TWICE - when it was first shown)!

Must get round to watching "The Green Mile" - Steven King prison drama with the same producer (I think?)

I too couldnt stay up till 1am on Sunday.
Really wanted to watch the Green Mile, but it finished too late.

Decided to watch Saving Private Ryan on Sunday afternoon, headphones on... curtains drawn....

Total immersion.

I knew the similarities and had always heard that The Green Mile wasn't as good as Shawshank, but personally, I think it's better

Don't worry, you're not alone.

Shawshank redemption was fine and all, but Green Mile is all soppy and "Disney magical" and faux sentimental - not to mention too long!

Well, it's actually not a BAD film by any means, but does it deserve to be at rank 128th on the IMDB top list? No.

...

On another note, I saw Sympathy For Lady Vengeance by Park Chan-Wook, which rocked my world. Now he's clearly one of my top 5 living directors.
