Has this been mentioned on here before? Only got recommended it the other day and have just signed up. Looks like great fun - it's a real-time role-playing/management kinda game that runs totally in your browser.

You create a character, form a band/act and off you go - need to get a job to earn money, build up your skills, write songs, get gigs, and eventually work your way up to being a rock god shagging loads of groupies, running your own venues, or even being the CEO of a record label. Totally up to you what you do and how you do it.

Because it's real-time you only have to check on your character a few times a week just to see how things are going and catch up with the latest news and gossip. It's a long-term investment, shall we say! Here's the Wikipedia entry on it - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Popomundo
