Ok Ok, so i went and blew my computer up, its been coming for ages really, specially when i took the damn thing off its diet of custard creams.
Basically managed to fry my CPU (an old athlon 1000)
so i went of in search of shiny new'ish CPU
Got my hands on nice little Athlon 2200+ Thoroughbred B
(AXDA2200DUV3C 9477717270018 AIUCB0241XPCW)
but silly old me, my heap oh sh*te won't run a B spec chip
so it looks like a top to bottom system build, which is quite exciting !!
any suggestions on Motherboards ?
gutted as i have a decent amount sdram yadda yadda
and of course i'm on a budget which i kinda blew on the chip anyway
