Old / rare tracks

The Music Discussion forum has replaced the old Lyrics and Samples forum and the Live Scene and Music Reviews forum. This forum is used to discuss anything relating to Music including Orbital topics, the live scene including Orbital gigs past, present and future. This section is an ideal place to post your live gigs reviews and album / single reviews. This forum can also be used to discuss Orbital lyrics and samples. The website will never disclose or confirm samples for legal reasons - so this is the next best thing.

Got hold of it the other day and I'm pretty happy with it. Quite a nice tune, even if it does sound a little random at times.

Anyway I was wondering about a couple of other tunes that I spotted in the samples section: Busy Tranquilising and Kinetic. Neither of these are in the discog section, anyone know how to get hold of these two?

I just won Kinetic off ebay, even though I bought it at the time when it came out, but it mysteriously disappeared. Was screwing even more when I found out it was Orbital under a different name. GRRR!

Tranquilizer busy tranquilising is hard to get tho because its on a compliation which was to do with the big issue magazine (i think)
You look real great.

Yup, Foundations is listed here and the track, "The Tranquilizer Busy Tranquilising" is, indeed, only available on this CD (for The Big Issues)! :)

And some variations of Kinetic are listed here - it is fairly incomplete, though! :P

Enjoy! 8)

Well it seems my luck was in - a random search on ebay on Tuesday (the first for a while) turned up the Omen 12" and the Foundations compilation, and I grabbed both of them today at knockdown prices :D

Yup, there should be loads of bargains to be had on ebay until the end of this month (lots of people trying to sell stuff, with lots of people not having too much money post Christmas) - good luck! :D

Yeah, it took me quite a while to find that CD single 8)

Speaking of The Pied Piper, I still don't have this one in a picture sleeve:

(which took me a while to find without one)

as I thought this was the only Golden Girls release:

The joys of collecting Kinetic-related stuff!!!! :P

I saw that one on 12" some time ago at a recordfair. the sleeve was in bad condition, the record was sticky and had a huge scratch in it.

they asked me 5 € for it.
