Not meaning to make you look thick or anything but do you mean the film of the stage play that was based on the original Mel Brookes film starring Gene Wilder and Zero Mostel, made in 1968?tcb2000 wrote:Went to see The Producers the other night...hilarious. the producers. i'm not much into musicals, and it got a wee bit annoying at times, but was also really funny.
it was in the tiny 4th screen at the littler local cinema, and me & my mate were the only ones in there, so we could stick our feet up and have a chat

i haven't watched narnia yet. i read and enjoyed 'the lion the witch and the wardrobe' as an appropriately aged kid, i can't remember if i read any of the others, i know i saw at least a couple of the tv interpretations - i dunno now if i'd appreciate the film or not. at the moment it wouldn't be on my list of priorities for my very tight cash supply, but if it were offered on a plate i expect i'd give it a go...

Due to chronic back pains I decided to skip upto blockbusters and hire War of the Worlds/Mr and Mrs Smith and Wedding crashers.
Watched War of the Worlds and enjoyed it more than before (but thats probably because it wasnt filmed through a camcorder in a dodgy cinema.)
Wedding Crashers was a disappointment for me.
Even will Farrell couldnt save it.
I have Mr and mrs Smith to watch today.
Also caught ET and the X files on ITV yesterday, enjoyed both of them immensely (while lying on the floor trying to keep my back straight!!).
