During the 1892/1893 Season, Albert was transferred to Aston Villa from Park Mills Football Club. Woolley's opening debut on the 25th March got him off to a flying start, when he scored two goals against Accrington.

I have managed to only gather minor match reports and write-ups from this season.
My research so far has led me to discover one discrepancy, which i'm still trying to clarify. In one book about the Villa, it stated that they played Burnley on Easter Tuesday 1893 but according to the Birmingham Evening Mail archives they refer to a Birmingham Testimonial home match against Wolves.

I have yet to find any more articles that can help clarify the confusion, until then, i have entered two match results for the 4th April 1893.

Position 4th Played 30 Won 16 Drawn 3 Lost 11 For 73 Against 62 Points 35
