March 31st 1999

MORE updates! - Reviews added to the majority of the gigs. Photos added for the Manchester, Cambridge and Wolverhampton gig - more on the way. You can view the final tour diary with the photos as well. Added "The Middle of Nowhere" album cover - this can be found on The Middle of Nowhere page.

March 30th 1999

Loopz Tour Diary page updated and now complete. Its good to be back at home and work - NOT! There will be a live gig from the 1999 UK Tour online @ Loopz in the next few months - so keep checking back! NEW Album samples now ONLINE. You can find them on the MIDDLE OF NOWHERE page or the DISCOGRAPHY SAMPLES page. The NEWS page has been updated to include the April 24th gig in London as part of a John Peel night and Glastonbury 1999 (nearly confirmed).

March 24th 1999

Loopz Tour Diary page has been updated to include all the gigs up to Southampton - i didnt actually make it to Southampton - i was way too tired after the slow drive from Cambridge. 3 left to go starting on Friday - Brighton! Added loads more visitor views on all the gigs so far - visit each gig page on the Loopz Orbital Live Project to see what they said.

March 21st 1999

Loopz Tour Diary page has been updated to include all the gigs up to Glasgow - i wont be at this one so any reviews are welcome! Pictures are now online of the Exeter, Bristol and Leeds gig - hopefully some more professional shots will be sent to me soon - i begging all the journos who took my details to get in touch :) Added visitor views on all the gigs so far - visit each gig page on the Loopz Orbital Live Project to see what they said. Expect a big news update soon - just ran out of time to complete the page for it. BTW....those who go to the gigs can ask for LOOPZ 6 at the Merchandise store and if they do...they will receive it FREE (while stocks last - haha) The closest gig to my home town tomorrow - Wolverhampton - see u there! (say hello on the Merchandise store after the gig!)

Loopz Tour Diary page has been updated to include the Sheffield gig- another good night. Big thanx to those who came over for a chat - it was good to meet some of the regular visitors to the site. Off to Manchester tomorrow - see u there! One bit of bad news for those Stateside - STYLE will not be released over there. Its not Orbital's choice im afriad - its out of their hands. Ive just arrived back after the first 2 Orbital dates - both were excellent and the crowd response was brilliant just what Orbital needed to start this tour. Thanx to all those who managed to get to Exeter and Bristol. Loopz Tour Diary page is now online. March 14th 1999

The NEWS page has ALL the Tour dates and venues - The Tour Starts TODAY! I shall be at all the dates apart from Dublin, Newcastle and Glasgow - so look out for me and come over and say hello. How will you know who i am ? Well - Loopz 6 will be on sale at the gigs and it will be a giveaway when this small , thin person is carrying a load of paper zines, a camera and is wearing a pass. :) Loopz 6 will be on general sale within the week but you can grab your copy from the gigs at a cut price. It features an exclusive interview with Paul Hartnoll plus live and album reviews. There will be a LIVE PROJECT page online and under construction. This will outline all the live dates Orbital have done in the last 10 years and will hopefully contain reviews/picture and sound bytes from the events. March 8th 1999

The Style page now has the Real Audio streaming samples and MP3 Samples to download. Please note ive zipped the Mp3 files as they can corrupt whilst downloading. The second Sample page has been updated to include these samples as well.

March 7th 1999

The Orbital gig at MASS has just been cancelled. This is due to a technical problem. Something will be organised for the competition winners - not too sure what at time of writing. So there will be no Radio One Broadcast..... There are some review quotes on "The Middle of Nowhere" and "Style" pages - taken from the next Loopz zine and the NME. There is also a picture of Pukka who feature on the track "Ontano". The live gig tomorrow (8th March) in its full glory will be hosted on the Loopz site in the next week or two. So if you miss the broadcast then all is not lost. For those tuning into Radio One - word is that Orbital will be on the stage at 2100hrs or 2130hrs. Awards page also updated.

March 3rd 1999

PLAID will support ORBITAL on the UK Tour. If you havent heard any of their material then you shouldnt be disappointed. Im personally looking forward to hearing their set (many times - :) ). There is a Europe site that is now hosting the FULL version of STYLE on behalf of Loopz. Thanx to Hex for sorting this out... STYLE. There is a bit of information on the NEWS page regarding the warm up gig that is on Monday at the MEEK Club in Brixton, London. If you are in the Uk tune your radios to Radio 1 to hear the gig Live. If you cannot get Radio 1 where you are then visit the Radio1 section on the BBC Website. They may have a real audio stream.
