It's our version of the Big Chill. By far and away the best festival I have been at in years. Generally held on the first w/end in September.
None of this has been confirmed but this is a rumoured list of some of the acts playing
Gary Numan - Massive Attack - DJ Shadow - Anthony & The Johnsons - Groove Armada - Stereolab - Nurse With Wound - Morrissey - Pet Shop Boys - Basement Jaxx - New Order - NWA - 2 Live Crew - Autechre - The Orb - Mogwai - Art Brut - MF Doom - The New Pornographers - King Creosote - MIA - Suburban Kids With Biblical Names - U-Roy - The Redneck Manifesto - DJ Krush - Caustic PhleX - Destroyer - Fingathing - Husky Rescue - Deerhoof
As soon as the website puts up anything more definitive I will let you know

I've just been in Dublin for St Paddy's weekend and spent a lot of time around Temple Bar and took great interest in the posters/flyers etc for gigs but didn't see Autechre advertised anywhere.
Did see an ad for Radio Soulwax though in a couple of weeks time...

Well, I thought with it being THAT weekend that everyone over there would have plans etc.
We had a good time - spent friday night in Eamon Doran's in Temple Bar, then saturday discovered a place called The Porterhouse off Grafton St to watch the rugby, then went to Break For The Border. Sunday was a few quiet pints and then a few more on monday afternoon in the Clarence!
You're right though - bloody cold!

Where to find a nurse on a sat night
I spent sat afternoon in the Gaiety Theatre running back and forth between the green room for the rugby, and the stage for my cues. The show finished about 5 min before the end of the match and we all just dropped what we were doing and ran to the green room just in time to see the winning try. All the travelling crew were Scottish so there wasn't that many England supporters there.
As regards the lack off advertising to the Autechre, The Temple Bar Music Centre, where it is being held, never advertise. The band would be better off doing it themselves.
BTW My plans (such as they are) are generally mutable.

Ricky, is that a flyer? I have been checking the poster boards around and I have definitly seen no mention of it anywhere, not even on the side of the building

Legspin, this is a cut and paste from someone bangin on about it on the xltronic msg board.
However its exactly the same as the poster. I've seen the poster hanging in Tower Records, City Discs and strangely, The Sound Cellar (near the entrance...& it was actually the first i heard of the gig).
