Am I the only non-brummie who actually likes the place? I know some parts are at industrial shit-hole level but most of it is quite open and airy and I have always had the best of times when there.

they all love it really , they are just in denial. Seriously half of them probably havent been to Bham or even seen birmingham in the last 10 years. They were shocked when i said we had palm trees!8)

It always used to be a great place to leave everyday at 5pm but seriously come and visit but wear a bullet proof vest and have thick skin. Just like any other city really.

Maybe its always cause I've been a country bumpkin ....well I think that's what I'm called ;_-(
