Well, Mixmag has confirmed that a new album is indeed due ot this year!
-------
They were There - Paul Hartnoll of Orbital:
"My big acid house experience was getting punched in the bollocks by a policeman during a raid at a house party in Sevenoaks. He told me: 'Lie on the floor or I'll kick your fucking head off', and as a result I ended up on Panorama talking about how the police were persecuting acid house. To me the best records are the British ones, like 808 State's brilliant 'Newbuild' album. The American tracks always had inappropriate gospel vocal bits, but the British records came from a darker, gothier, Cabaret Voltaire-type place. There was more depth to them. They had that tribalism that's kept acid coming back every few years. It was about rejecting melody and getting right back to the primal thump."
Paul Hartnoll's solo album is out this year.

So, there you have it - confirmation - you'd better get working on that website, then, Loopz!
