I notice this is the version that the sample on the site is from, yet both the original and remix versions are totally different to it. Does anyone know if this live version is available anywhere?

Live version is unreleased but is based more on the F.A. mix rather than the original.

And for those who don't know what "F.A." refers to, it is actually the "Funky Alternatives" series of compilations (a label created by Tony Thorpe of Moody Boyz & remixer of The KLF) that were released back in the late 80's, early 90's of (mostly) unreleased mixes/tracks - "Open Mind (FA Mix)" was one such track.
Anyway, it's extremely easy to find a compilation for this mix, as the rights of the "Funky Alternatives" compilation tracks seem to have been sold off to all and sundry, most recently appearing on the "Machines And Noise" compilations, released in Australia in 2002!
There you go - I had to investigate all of this some years ago - you learn something new every day!
