Glastonbury - Roll Call

The Music Discussion forum has replaced the old Lyrics and Samples forum and the Live Scene and Music Reviews forum. This forum is used to discuss anything relating to Music including Orbital topics, the live scene including Orbital gigs past, present and future. This section is an ideal place to post your live gigs reviews and album / single reviews. This forum can also be used to discuss Orbital lyrics and samples. The website will never disclose or confirm samples for legal reasons - so this is the next best thing.

Yeah, depending on a happy outcome to the traumas of Ticket Day of course...
"One day, I shall come back. Yes, I shall come back. Until then, there must be no regrets, no tears, no anxieties. Just go forward in your beliefs, and prove to me I am not mistaken in mine."
And they DID come back. Ha!

Absolutely.
Might take my own headphones though

Chances are the generic ones will be worse quality than Transatlantic flight headphones

Count me in, if I can get a ticket.
If not, count me in for something else this summer.... Glade?

Glad you said that Aimee. Question is does anyone need help getting tickets. If we know of people who are just ordering one for example we could get them to order two to cover those who may struggle. just an idea...

It'll be early morning here when tickets go on sale, I'm going to try and get through on the international line.

We go onto DST on Sunday at 2am (ie 2am becomes 3am) and tickets are going on sale at the current 3am, so I guess they go on sale at 4am which is really 3am? Ok, now I'm confused.

I'm going to send an email to my coordinator at work today and have her hold two blocks of dates for me, one around Glasto and one around the Glade. Sucks that the festivals are each kind of mid-week/weekend, means I need to use all my holidays in one go. Totally worth it though!

i've got serious plans to go. i know i've said that for the last couple of years, and it all depends on tickets, but this year i've got a friend who is badgering me to go along who may pull me out of my inertia.

plus, i haven't done a festival for yonks, so it's about time really.
