He was supposed to be here on Valentine's Day, but the show was cancelled. He also cancelled some shows in Australia, here's the news tidbit from In the Mix
MYLO CANCELS BIG DAY OUT...
Promoters Lees & West confirmed that dance act Mylo has blown out his appearances on Big Day Out and his two satellite shows at Sydney's Home and Melbourne's Prince of Wales. Mylo's people said he contracted a virus over the New Year which resulted in partial hearing loss in one ear. Now he has lost full hearing in that ear and part hearing in the other.

Nasty... Never heard of a virus that makes you deaf...
The only thing I could think of whilst reading the above is 'It's All Gone Pete Tong'...

eeshk. it doesn't specifically say if the hearing loss is temporary or permanent...
*edit*
"...but he has been told by doctors that his hearing should return after a few days rest."
which is nice.

Didn't Dog morph into Mylo in a weird bootleg fusion of bodies? No wonder poor Mylo is feeling so sick.

I had something similar to this just before xmas. Got a cold about 10 days before and went deaf in my left ear. Came back alright but it took about 3 weeks. Doc said ear infections can cause the earwax glands to go into overdrive and the drainage from the ear can't cope. It was like someone had poured treacle into my ear, particularly first thing in the morning

Aye no probs Dolly. If you need any more dubious images do not hesitate to ask. All types of mental scarring catered for.

Oh ok
I had just seen "It's All Gone..." the previous night, and was much too eager to post the reference to notice that someone had already made it.
Nice movie, BTW. Maybe not as funny as I would have wanted, but it's got heart.
