As and from 5.00pm yesterday my wife and I are the owners of a house (well, us and the bank anyway).
You have no idea how much of a sea change this is for us.
Now all we have to do is start reading the Daily Mail and we will be fully converted to the cult

Congrats...nothing like owning your own place. The feeling you get by sitting there and thinking 'I could knock down that wall if I wanted to....' is fantastic!

hey congratsz!!! yeah and its a huge headache too esp if its a bit old and has lots of sprucing up to do.
i just bought an apartment that was built in the 70s and ... its quite evident in the dull green, salty looking lil mosaic tiles. I've just given them a good scrubbing... phew. And the result isn't far from how it looked in the beginning hahahaaa.
I've brought the wall down (for a hefty S$520) to give the living and kitchen a lofty look... making a lil breky counter in place of the wall.. and could always double up as a dj console hmmmmmmm
