The Travel Thread

Inspired by the "Who have you seen live (so far!) this year?" thread...
Where have you been this year? I am a complete travel nut, so I'll go first
February: Los Angeles, Melbourne, and Sydney for a friend's wedding
June: Detroit for Kraftwerk, then England, Holland, Belgium for Glastonbury and visiting other Loopz members/an old Orbital list member
September: Holland, Belgium, Germany, Luxembourg, France with the list member and visiting other Loopz members... plus a little trip to Detroit with my brother for a couple of baseball games
October: I got to play tourist in my own area when someone came to visit for a week... Niagara Falls, London (the Canadian one!), all around Toronto, etc.
November: Belgium (next weekend!) to visit the same list member again
The women at work think I'm nuts, but I wouldn't have it any other way... especially now that I have a valid 'reason' to travel to Europe so often
Again, it's really all Orbital's fault. Before last year, I hadn't left North America... Then I went over for Brixton and Glastonbury and fell in love with travel. I almost chickened out (really) but from the moment I got in the air... no regrets. Through all of this I have learned so much about myself and I think it's helped me become a better person. To me there's nothing like throwing a few things together and boarding a plane alone.
I really, really want to do a big around-the-world trip. I've got the money put aside now... just a matter of planning!
Thank you a million times over to those of you who have provided me with couches and beds and tours and company... you're the greatest! I seriously wouldn't have made it to all of these places without you guys.

the only other new place i've seen that i can think of is cambridge, where my lovely new girlfriend lives.
