Help - stuff to do Friday night in London

I know you guys are good at this sort of thing. Here's the problem:
My best mate Fouzia has an old friend over from Paris for a week. She goes back Saturday and we want to do something in London on Friday night. It has to be something good, something fun, something possibly unique to London or at least not run of the mill. We were thinking of a gig/concert or club night but I don't really know what's on.
Can anyone help us out - any ideas?
(it's
this Friday, 4th November)

Well, there is that secret warehouse party featuring Alex Patterson
here?

Big breaksy night at Fabric, too. Uberzone live (very good fun, big noisy live drumming), Evil Nine, Stanton Warriors and Adam 'I-Used-To-Be-Good-Once' Freeland.

I have to admit to being a bit of a sucker for Fabric myself.

Is it still warm in London? If not, dress up warm and go for a pub stroll along the Thames... one of the things I missed most about London this summer

Yeah, a pub stroll down the Thames, ending up by arriving at the Tate Modern drunk is highly recommended! Especially as it's open till 10pm on Fridays.
Stylustrouble and myself had a drunken few hours wandering round there a couple of weeks back - very entertaining stuff in there at the moment!

Yeah that's a good idea but that ends rather early for a friday night. Don't really fancy Fabric tho, I'm not a big fan.
Does anyone know if there's anything on at the 333?

I may be going to The Spitz in Spitalfields on Friday night for Wevie Stonder and all manner of other stupidity, including a "guess the weight of the giant scotch egg" competition. May be your kind of thing.

Well... that's kind of it. If you know Wevie Stonder you'll know that they play demented electro-funk, plus there's all sorts of meat-related stuff happening (they're having the "reconstituted meat arena" with the scotch egg comp, a meat-based coconut shy, etc). Here are some Wevie Stonder samples, in case you don't know their stuff:

You
