Happy Birthday Fawlty Towers!

As it turns 30, I just want to express how thankful I am to FT for the joy and laughs it's given me, and still does to this day. I don't think I've ever watched another programme so many times and it's still as fresh as a daisy! Truly a wonderful institution that I hope will live for ever

Yes that was the first episode I ever saw and one of the best in my opinion. John Cleese is a brilliant man.

The scene of Basil beating his car is used by doctors to illustrate stress and the effects it can have. You would be surprised how many conferences this shown at.
John Cleese actually has a lucrative sideline appearing in management training films.
