Life wouldn't be complete without me quacking about MBM playing live on home soil for the first time in ages, so here's the skinny:

Tuesday 20 September - Ireland - Dublin - Temple Bar Centre
Thursday 22 September Holland - Amsterdam - Paradiso
Wednesday 28 September Switzerland - Basel - Schiff
Friday 30 September UK - London - Cargo
Saturday 1 October Spain - Barcelona Apollo

I imagine there are at least two there of obvious interest to most of us :D

The London gig has been fully announced: MBM and The Mellowtrons live, with Dr Alex Paterson off of The Orb and Jeff Automatic giving turntable support. Not to be missed, eh? Tickets are a tenner, get 'em here:

Arse! Tried to buy a ticket for the Cargo show and TicketWeb are no longer selling them (site didn't say it was sold out). Does anyone know if anywhere else has them? SeeTickets and Ticketmaster don't have them listed, so they're no use...

Cargo don't have a direct box office either, I've tried.

Having just had a look, that's the kind of message/explanation I've seen when the dates actually sold out... :(

Could be wrong, though, so try phoning Cargo tomorrow morning? (I'm not sure who you'd actually phone, though)...??

Remember, it's a small(ish) venue, and Meat Beat seem to have quite a large cult following, so I wouldn't be at all surprised if it's already sold out...

On the subject of Cargo, again a night which I can't go to (going to Rome the next day - very early in the morning):

"Friday, September 16 at 8:00 PM
THE REMIX: White Rose Movement with Who Made Who and Global Communication & Eddy Temple-Morris

A consistent champion of innovative new music ahead of his peers, Xfm's Eddy Temple-Morris, one of the 'Hottest DJs around' (Efestivals July 2005), introduces live action from White Rose Movement and WhoMadeWho - two sizzling hot bands at this month's Remix Night. Mischievous DJs Global Communication (Tom Middleton & Mark Pritchard) take to the decks as they launch the re-release of their album 76: 14.
£10.00"

So, Tom & Mark DJ'ing Global Communication 8)

Oh, and this Friday you can see Infusion live there too:

"Friday, September 2 at 8:00 PM
ENCOMPASS: THE SESSIONS: CagedBaby with Infusion & CHALK & George Demure

Hybrids of breaks, techno, electro driven groups of CagedBaby, Infusion and Chalk all playing live. A smorgasbord of musical delights to excite the palette for the Encompass Festival 2006
£10.00"
