We have received some bad news regarding a former member of the Loopz forum and Xmission mailing list. Mark Drybrough also known as MSD took his life on Wednesday 27th July after battling with mental illness for over a decade. He was 32 years old.

Mark had a great love of electronica and a great knowledge of music in general. His funeral is on the 12th August 2005 in Coventry. If you would like more details then please email me.

That's really sad.

I always thought that he must be an interesting fellow by his posts. You could also really see that the man knew much about music.

I hope everything good for his family and friends.

R.I.P. Mark.

i want to write something, but now i am at this point that i am staring at this screen for quite a while now..

i wont go into details, but i have seen not a very nice side of mark, although i didnt know him personal at all and it wasn't addressed to me.
knowing some about the mental condition he had, i could see where this behaviour came from.
it really shows what a mental illness can do to a person, which must be very hard for his family, friends and most of all: himself.

i want to show my respect to his family and i really hope mark has found peace.

MSD was obviously a very tortured soul and I hope that he has now found peace.

My god, what a shocker. I haven't been on in so long but I remember him...always seemed so smart. Really, really sorry to hear that. Mental illness like that is just so horrible, I wish there were ways around it for people. :(
