About the Middle of Nowhere Artwork.

So i was talking with some other people on a dutch forum about Orbital, and we came upon the topic of the cover art for "The middle of nowhere", altho we all live in Holland, almost everybody had a different type of artwork..
for example, Mine has a grey circle printed over the walking figure:

like that, and the track listing is on the back / right and sideways.
the side of the cd is blank.
someone else had a shiny coating over it:

with the track listing on the same position as mine.
another one had the same grey ring as i did, but with the track listing on the side, and of course, someone had a white-ish ring with the track listing on the side.. But non of us had slipcases
then someone mentioned that the grey ring, and the track listing on the back was a miss print..
was the grey circle really a miss print? or the place of the track listing? and why where there so many different printings?
this just makes collecting a lot harder!
just wondering...
