I know I'll probably be reined in by the 'smoothie police' (ie: Memly ) but I wanted to share a drink that I had the other week. We had some friends round for dinner and as a pudding they brought loads of boxes of magnums (sort of ice-cream bars covered in chocolate for the un-initiated.)
What we did was take the sticks out, put them in the blender with some milk and the end result was very nice indeed

I've just contacted the JPL (Juice Protection League) and have been reliably informed that a combination of friut juice and pulp, in any combination, but with no non-flora additions is called JUICE.
SMOOTHIE is merely a trendy new way of labelling milkshakes.
Memly should expect a 3:00 a.m. knock on the door any time soon.

Slugs! HE created slugs! They can't hear. They can't speak. They can't operate machinery. Are we not in the hands of a lunatic?

How wrong could you be Mr Macbath.
This is soooo soooo sooo wrong it hurts.
Wheres my fellow alumni when I need him??
..too busy whoring himself no doubt!!
The smoothie-making community will be in tatters after such a sweeping statement, I would suggest the uneducated persons among us should read the Smoothie Makers Annual Reports, written by John J Smoothie from Smoothland, Illinois.
These bible-like compendiums contain everything that need to be known about Smoothies.
That article Dave, to be as eloquent as I can be; is utter bollocks.
Oh boy your in trouble....

I think Mr Mac bath is obviously an active member of the anti smoothie movement who feels threatened that the introduction of the smoothie by the modern hip generation of smoothie drinkers has ousted his traditional "old skool" milkshake from the beverage list in many modern drinking establishments.
Either that or he is infact a such fan of milkshakes - in particular from McDonalds because of the addition of the forementioned "special" ingredient that he cant handle the taste of a smoothie!! We all know from previous posts in this thread that a salty ingredient and fresh blended fruit just do not go together...
