Posting issue.

Post by legspin »

Steve.
Small issue. If I am putting up a long post I find that after I have filled the text box on the reply page it starts acting wierdly.
The page keeps jumping back to the bottom of the text box but the cursor stays at the end of the script. If I continue typing the page flickers between the cursor and the bottom of the original full text box. It is quite disconcerting as I know I am typing something but I'm not quite sure what. I can scroll down to the end of the text but as soon as I start typing again the flickering starts up again and always finishes with me staring at the original text box again.
I found the easiest way around the problem was to cut the script, keep typing and then paste the text back in again but it's fucking tedious and I have lost significant chunks of posts by cutting and pasting incorrectly.

As always, the problem could be my end of course.

Cheers

Cheers Matt. I have a tendency to assume technical snafus are at this end.

Yeah this is happening to me too; the screen was so shaky the other morning it nearly triggered a fit.
