I was wondering why the French concerts are labelled Orbital Sound System.
I guess it's a DJ set, but why did they choose to do that instead of a real concert ?

I just bought my train ticket to go to Paris (100€) and my ticket for the Orbital show, but hey, I just read that we french people will be granted with an inferior version of the show ? What the F*** is this DJ Set you're talking about ? What's the purpose of giving the hardcore french fans a simple DJ Set... I'm quite confused now. I'd never pay 122€ to go in a night club.

According to the Nouveau Casino staff, it will be a live show but without the visuals (it's a small place).

The most important is that they play real music, instead of simply DJing.

If i remember right, this was one of the night's i highlighted as being advertised in a not so friendly way. Ie: It wasnt saying it was a DJ set! bad promotors....

Orbital are playing a set from Laptops but it will be all Orbital tunes. That's the easiest way of putting this.

It'll be like the recent Boiler Room set by the sounds of things which was some straight Orbital tunes and also some slightly 'live' ableton Orbital songs more like the live set we have just had here. 4 or 5 of the tracks from the Boiler Room set were messed around with live versions.

It won't be all bad.
In fact that Boiler Room set was a lot of fun.
