Is anybody who is fortunate to have got hold of a copy of "Wonky" ready to review it yet?
You know who you are!!
I am very eager to listen to it (as is everybody else!) and I have read Loopz' review a few times already.
I think we need a thread for the fans to review the Album too...

I will post a review tomorrow once I've had time to listen to it a few times and to sober up as I went round to a mates house tonight (who has an AMAZING sound system) to listen to the promo) and have had a few drinks.
I definitely get a lot of what Loopz said in his review though and will make mention of this when i post tomorrow.

one thing i would say is that "Stringy Acid" sounds a lot like early 808 State. Like something from their "90" album..it's brilliant. Great nod to where it all started. Can't wait to hear this live.

I was..yes...now it's just finished...and i must say another gripe I have about this album is that several tracks seem to end abruptly. This is especially true of Wonky and Where Is It Going? (which ends WAY too sharply for a closing track.) And yes it's now 1am and i really should get to bed for a school nite...lol

Once I've heard it a few more times, I'll give a more detailed review of it
For now I will say this. Stringy Acid is absolutley amazing!!! Wonky vocal mix is a lot better than I thought it would be (it works well with lyrics) then beat is alot better than the DJ version and I think Beelzedub is great too (I know there are going to be a few out there that think it isn't).
And I agree with Badger that some tracks end far too quickly especially Where is it Going? (Something more like Styles ending would have been better, a bit more drawn out). The other being Wonky, which shouldn't have faded out IMO.
The album flows really well right from beginning to end. I can see why they called it Wonky. It has that feel running all the way through it.
Overall, this is a fantastic album that is up there with the best.
Stand out tracks for me are:
Stringy Acid [The best on the album]
Distractions
One Big Moment [Such a great feel to it]
New France [Really like this]
Never
Wonky [Better than I thought it would be. Smiled to myself while it was playing]
Beelzedub [
