I keep on thinking it's me. I come back for an afternoon and the whole place disappears!

It may just be me, but this seems to happen coming into weekends in particular. Thus the reason it don't get fixed until America wakes from its hangover on Mondays probably.

I've got a phpBB messageboard and sometimes they do very stranges things of their own accord

I missed this place... although I've been hanging out with people from this place.... so I didn't miss it too much!

Its not the forum that went down (or anything to do with the forum itself)...its the SQL Server that went down. This is where the database is for the forum and the shop. We have moved SQL server on two occasions and this is most stable server we have had so far. They still go down on occasions though...

oh forum breaker that will be your end as the sql server/forum etc has been working fine all day today.

don't you find you miss it all the more when it's not there!
