Due to circumstances not all of which were beyond my control, I missed Leftfield the first time around. The first time I saw them I dismissed them without really listening to them. Not long after that I did listen and actually quite impressed. I then waited to see them again and every time I did they still left me a little under-whelmed. So it was with much trepidation the I went out front to see them at the Electric Picnic last Saturday.
For the first time that was the gig I was expecting. From the opening of Song for Life to the final squelches of Phat Planet it was epic. Those versions of Storm 3000 and Space Shanty just put the tin hat on the entire expierience. So, 15 years of waiting has finally paid off.

I just got some tickets for their gig here in Bournemouth within the last hour, thats great news Leggy.

I was a bit concerned with it only being 50% of the original lineup.

I think the last time I saw them was at that London Arena gig with Orbital/Leftfield doing a double header over New Years (99?) anyway I've seen em a few times and I have always enjoyed it.

I would advise that you do not wear steel toe-capped work boots whiles dancing around like a loon though. Where my toes meet my foot is still a little raw .

Cant wait for this gig now... only a month to go...

Just bought tickets for the manchester gig,pretty sure it was 10 yrs ago we last saw them at the Manc acadmey ! Time flies

Underworld were rather fab on Saturday night.

I'm a bit gutted really.
Turns out I cant remember much of the gig at all... Not a clue what the setlist was and I cant really remember much about last Friday full stop.

I didnt even have a "lot" of rum...

Had to give it a miss on saturday night. Most disappointed. Between work and a dose of influenza I wasn't really going anywhere. Ah well.
