Re: Dr Who & Orbital!!
Heh... I stayed up well passed my bedtime to watch that on BBC2, the DR (dont know his real name) seemed to be loving it!
I wonder what he was modulating??
The show looked spot on, loved the lightwork.
Quality stuff, but I couldnt help being reminded of the final scene in Bill and Teds Excellent Adventure when the DR walked on.
Unfortunately it seemed this was the only footage, poor considering they topped the bill on that stage.
Mind you I didnt stay up any later than the DR? bit...

Re: Dr Who & Orbital!!
Yeah it looks like "Doctor ?" was the only track shown on TV which is a bit shit really. But there is a 35 mins extended video on the BBC website but unfortunately I can't view that over here in Australia which is even more shit.

Steve Lamacq's show has Don't Stop Me, Chime, Crime & Halcyon on it - Don't Stop Me was superb live and loved the way Chime was mixed into it....

Heh, I'm glad you got the comparison too User Name.
The camera angles the BBC used admittedly helped to feed my imagination which was quite warped by that point in the day (many beers in the sun and too much hummus!).
The lighting looked immense, just wish I could have seen more...

Re: Dr Who & Orbital!!
BBC red button had Satan, Don't Stop Me, Chime, Crime and Dr ?. All sounded fantastic and can't wait for Guildford in a couple weeks.
Loved the coverage of Stevie Wonder too. Another Star blew me away.
