For those of you who like twiddling virtual knobs, the all in one musical creation centre known as Reason is being updated to version 5.

The only new feature announced so far is the DR.Octo Rex (well apart from some sequencing changes), which looks similar to the old REX player, but with more envelopes and modulating opportunities.
Propellerhead are releasing info and new additions every day this week...

No info on how Record is being changed yet, I suspect that the developers are concentrating more on Reason, with maybe the focus for Record being more about the integration with Reason and more routing capabilities??

Info suggests a late summer release.

Yep I saw this on Dogs on Acid. Some of the new updates look awesome Especially the Dong Drum Sampler.

Yeah, its all shaping up very well I think.
I understand the upgrade is 99 euros, which seems quite good for the overhaul.
