Tickets booked.

What food do I need to take? Heard they only eat spuds over there....

be interested to know where people are stoping and any recommendations on places to stop. ibis or some cheapness like that? (i know Dublin is expensive!).

p.s. i love potatoes;)

We're staying in a hotel near the venue though it's not particularly cheap.

I also love potatoes.

The one good thing about there is you're about as close to the venue as you can get there Dave.

I did a bit of looking.
All the really cheap hotels are on the outskirts of the city naturally. If you stay in any of those you are going to spend a fortune on taxis so it really isn't worth it.

Don't look outside Dublin 1,2, 4 or 6. (taxis again)

For those really on a budget, Hotel 'spin is accepting guests, if you don't mind possible 7 am wake up calls consisting of a 2 year old crawling over you. On the plus side you will have a chauffeur service to and from the gig.

Hey all, so lookin forward to the gigs now. Listem to Rich re Hotels, the man spake the truth! If anyone is really stuck for a crash site, chez Walt&Brian are also open for bookings.
