USB Drive Manchester 19th

Hello, I bought a USB of the gig last night in Manchester, got it home today, and I've paid £20 for an un-formatted flash drive... Gutted!!!
Does anyone know who I can contact about this for a replacement, I know it's dodgy ground buying stuff like this at gigs, but trust me to get the faulty one...

Any responses would be really appreciated.

Many Thanks

PH

Try Record Store (they're the online equivalent) - I'm sure they'll replace it for you?

I also bought one last night, and it's fine, so they obviously gave you one of the ones that people were swapping (i.e. they give out blank ones to those who bought it before the gig, and then swap them with a full one)...

Wow, I hope you guys who got given blank wristbands get your recording soon.

It'll be worth the wait, I'm sure! :applause

just a thought , i'm sure the wrong bands will be replaced but i had an 'unformatted' one that wouldn't work on a pc but when i put it in to a mac it was fine. just some thing to try while you wait...

*Update*

Recording store no help at all... I have to contact the Manchester Academy to find out who was recording the gig...
I'll do some running around, but might have to put this down to experience :(

Tried on both Mac & PC - nada!

Last time I buy from a gig...

First of all - thanks to everyone on this...

I've just got it working :)
I had tried it on a Mac running OSX 10.5 and a PCs running Vista and XP with no joy,
however I've just tried it on an old mac in the studio running OSX 10.3 and it's worked, don't know why or how, but it works, I'm well relived.

If anyone is still having trouble I've just had an email from Chris Norton who will send out a replacement, his email is chris@ihtrecords.com
He'll send out details on how to return.

Cheers

Paul

I am off to the Newcastle gig tonight and was tempted with the USB recording but didn't do anything about it earlier.

Can you just buy them after the gig tonight?

Will have to bring some extra pennies if that is the case.

I cannot wait. Honestly, I really cannot wait!!!!

You just queue after the gig, should be selling them at the merch stand if Saturday was anything to go by.

Enjoy yourself mate, was the best night I've had in years.

Hi, Thanks for your speedy reply.

I know I will have a tremendous time. I have seen them quite a few times and they have never failed me.

In fact just getting to see them again after splitting is a dream!

I am sitting in my little office, 4 floors up a 1960s god-awful office block in the centre of Newcastle actually overlooking the Tyne Bridge, a five minute walk away from Newcastle Academy and listening to The Girl With The Sun In Her Head on my iphone. My stomach is doing somersaults and cart wheels. I have tomorrow off work and I am going to go a wee bit mental tonight methinks!!!

Very tempted with the Battersea gig!

Any idea what the t-shirts etc are like?

T-shirts:

One grey one with Orbital logo (in pink oval) on the front.
One black with "20rbital" on front, and tour date circle on back (as in the album)
One black or blue with the silouetted (sp?) picture on the front (as on front page of this site), and tour date circle on back
One blue t-shirt hoodie of the above design.

Think they also sell the 20rbital CD, Live At Glastonbury CD, and Paul's "Ideal Condition" CD there too.
