i'm drunk and scared and confused by that much writing, but his new album "everything ecstatic", including the aforementioned "smile around the face" (which makes me smile every time) is shit hot.
got a live set off giles (how many l's?) peterson of him & drummer bloke - steve reid? - that was great too - can find you a themixingbowl.org link if anyone wants or at some point i'm gonna get round to chopping the relevant bits out from the 2 hour set.

Might need a few more listens - but the album reeks of too much jazz-wankery for me.... :(

listened it thru about 4-5 times and really must agree with shady... far too much jazz wankery !!

Have bought soo much music recently, I havent really had a chance to digest it.
