Yeah I heard that the son of Libyan leader Colonel Gaddafi said today his country would resist demands from IRA victims for compensation after Gordon Brown launched a frantic damage limitation exercise over the Lockerbie scandal.

Is that current enough?

...or are you talking about this new E.P.?

LOL - Long Range are apparently still going as are Paul Hartnoll solo - a recent interview (in Virgin Trains magazine) states that there's a new solo album in the pipeline...

Ah, the EP that was released (digitally) in August (via Beatport - September, elsewhere) was "Dispel The Clouds" - two remixes - Myagi Remix and Lee Combs Remix, via Pop And Lock Records.

Just got this:-

Hi

Just a heads up to say Long Range are putting out a three track EP on
Pure Mint Records. There is also a new mix Of Lie Down available from
the Pure Mint website as a free download details below....

Following the album Madness and Me, Long Range have expanded into a
fully-fledged band and here release the ‘Control Me’ EP on Pure
Mint - three slabs of intricately worked, varied techno music. The
title track fizzes and squelches in all the right places, and features
a sleazy male/female vocal interplay on the theme ‘control’ –
it’s either sado-masochistic, anti-authoritarian, or both!

‘Tools’, meanwhile, boasts glistening shards over a low-end
gurgle, a track so intricately worked it could be a long-lost Orbital
classic. Finally, ‘Flip’ is filmic and journeying, like the
soundtrack to a French art house film. It’s a great package, picking
up the baton from where Long Range left off while Phil’s been busy
with Orbital gigs and Nick working on film scores.

To celebrate the release of this EP, Pure Mint are offering an
exclusive free download of Long Range’s ‘Lie Down’ track –
recorded live at the Green Room. The track originally appeared on Long
Range’s acclaimed ‘Madness & Me’ album. Just go to
http://pure-mint.com/download/longrange for the free MP3.

There some quotes from DJ's below

Eddy Temple Morris (The Remix – XFM)

‘Playing track 2 from this, is it called Tool? Very cool
sounding.’

Tom / Groove Armada (Various – Worldwide)

‘Into all 3 tracks, quality production great release.’

Jori Hulkkonen (Various – Europe)

‘This is excellent stuff. Full support radio & club!’

Rex the Dog (Various – Europe)

‘This is awesome!! Especially 'Flip'. Such a tight electronic
groove. Yum!!!!!!’

Maelstrom (various – France)

‘Control me is one of the best electro tracks i've received this
month. Lovin flip too, wont be playin it, but it goes straight into
the iphone for personal listening pleasure. I will play and chart.
9/10.’
