...then what comes next? Never knew what the rest of the sample from Impact is saying. I always imagine it's "...what the fuck?" but surely it must be cleaner than that! Brown album didn't come with a parental advisory after all!

Eh??
When does that happen?
The only other vocals I can recall are the melodic bits of what sounds like a moaning woman... is she saying that?
If it is then blow me down its only taken 15 years and 1000s of play and I still never caught on.
Mind you it took me ages to figure out that the "Nothing Left" vocal was actually saying "Nothing Left"! I thought she was talking in gobbledygook like the rest of song.
I am slow to catch on, I will admit that.

haha, that's quite OK. I just figured that out about 4 months ago myself, after 10 years of listening to the track!

There are so many Orbital tracks with females breathlessly oozing stuff (admittedly Miss Goldfrapp is responsible for the majority of them) that I normally just accept the vocals as another layer of melody without analysing whats being said.
In the case of "Nothing Left" parts 1 and 2... apart from the title phrase... can anyone decipher what else she is purring about??
...I thought not!

"ooh ah was it something?
ooh ooh ooh
Safe here
Nothing left"
that there's my guess anyway....

no! I refuse to accept there are even MORE meaningful lyrics... I prefer nonsense, really.
