Got tickets for me & DavemacfromBath. In the front row!!
I have a suspicion that the 'seats' are in fact deckchairs.

£42 is a lot to see a band I like and a band I know nothing about.

I know it's a lot but it's a whole afternoon & evening's entertainment in a most beautiful outdoor setting, Kenwood House is part of Hampstead Heath. I've only ever heard of them doing classical concerts there before. I would SO love to go to this but I can't really afford to pay 3 lots of £42 (as I'd have to bring the kids) and I've got a feeling there's age restrictions anyway
btw: III if you haven't seen or heard of Nitin Sawhney before, be prepared to be blown away! I saw him & his entourage the other week @ Shepherds Bush and it was amazing!

Just on the topic of Lemon Jelly, they played here Friday of last week at the Trinity Ball. It's a big university gig in in the College itself slap bang in the centre of Dublin. 4 stages of acts that starts at 10pm and finishes at 4 am.
Jelly were on from 12.30 to 1.30 with a stripped down show (no big light show and less of the visuals), and it was swinging. Unfortunately they were just starting 'Ducks' when the hard drive on their playback rack crashed. Panic of a muted variety ensues as their techies and themselves try to reboot the rack without losing the tracks they had yet to play. 7 min. later we're back live but 'Ducks.' had flown, not to come back.
I was talking to their backline techie after they had come off and he was telling me it was the first time they gone out without a second rack. And the last I'll warrant

.
Other than that the gig was great and to cap it during the change-over after Jelly had finished the music stuck on to keep the crowd amused was the first 20 min of MoN
Ian Brown was playing there on the same night at exactly the same time

. Typical. Also Babyshambles played later. He should stick to heroin IMO
