i didn't notice much in the way of mario or drums tbh, but i did find that video rather gripping for some reason. top camera work.

Talking about videogames..
Paul Hartnoll's Patchwork Guilt always makes me think of the music from super metroid.
that bass heavy synth does the trick.

reminds me of those videos the crazy japanese guys posted of themselves playing mario themes on piano. Equally impressive.
