Not being a very big fan of huge gigs, I chose to watch Dance Valley (Spaarnwoude, Netherlands) on tv, August 2001.

Orbital was the closing act of the night, and I remember being mesmerized by their preformance, the lights and the crowd, even in front of the tv at home.
I remember this song in particular that gave me goosebumps, and while watching it, I made it a mission to remember the name of the song...so obviously I forgot, and haven't been able to find it ever since.

In my memory it had the word 'moon' in it, and it was very soothing, with little bells and such.

I have been looking for this song for years, although I haven't been able to find an Orbital song with the word 'moon' in it. I could have been someone else's song obviously, but looking for an Orbital type song with that word in it, is looking for a needle in a haystack.
I can't find a tracklist for that gig either, so I really hope anyone here might know which song I'm talking about.

If it was an orbital gig, it was an orbital song.. they don't really play other peoples songs..
At dancevalley (Waar ik niet bij was, omdat ik op vakantie was...) They played a few songs fitting your discription.. none of them with moon in the title...

Could be Belfast... or maybe Illuminate.
Of course, if it has bells, it could also be chime.

The part of the set i know from dance valley goes:
- belfast
- Oi!
- Illuminate (live mix)
- Satan
- Tootled
- impact
- Docter?
(probably has chime after that, but don't got that on audio, they always play chime)

OMG You're amazing!! It was actually that Dr. Who theme!! I looked for the album version first, but I so clearly remembered it starting out with bells or some tune. Really quietly. So I didn't think it was the right song.
Then I came across the live version they did, and it was exactly what I meant!

How in the hell I EVER got the word 'moon' stuck in my head, I have no idea...
