there's the possibility to upload avatars to steve's server. of course, he has to activate this option first (if he hasn't already).
advantages: everything runs smooth because the server delivers everything.
disadvantages: a bandwidth limit probably?

All avatars get uploaded to my server anyway :p but there is a k limit. I could enable the facility to use external graphics as your avatar but i still think we should have a k limit so that dialup people dont get too beat up

d'oh. now that i checked the "origin" of my avatar via right click, it's true. all local avatars are on your server. ignore my above post then. heck, ignore all of my previous and forthcoming posts.

Yeah, even at 9am when all the Americans are tucked up in bed and the net is supposed to be faster, this site is still incredibly slow.

and sometimes it does nothing if you ... err... push the button. but hey, now that the double post filter has been turned on, i'm willed to wait until my words are published.

wow..thats weird.. if u change your picture, it changes is all your old posts as well..

I know php (or whatever it is) does that, I use another forum with it and it's the same. Also your status always shows the current one as well as your number of posts
