yet another dang petition to sign if you please - m.e.

we've all been pestered to sign a million and one of these online petitions, but if you could bear to sign this one, and pass it on to anyone who might be interested, it'd be much appreciated
The latest DWP Guidelines and PACE are still directing the Health Service to treat ME suferrers with GET and CBT (a tool used for mental illnesses) despite the mounting evidence from a vast amount of research proving that ME is an organic not a psychosomatic disease and that the treatments forced onto those affected do in fact cause more harm than good and can worsen the condition of patients. Money should instead be invested in research into the physiologocal aetiology of ME/CFS and its treatment. Patients should not be forced into becoming psychiatric cases or lose their benefits.

I had ME for four years when I was a teenager. Got prescribed Prozac but never took it – I hid all the pills inside a speaker, which I found recently. Anyone want to buy some 15-year-old uppers?

deadline for this petition is today (tuesday), please sign if you haven't already - it's sincerely appreciated, and if you can pass it on to anyone else who may be interested, that's even better!
we really need the support of the government and health service in researching and treating the physiology of this illness, and they aren't doing a thing about it at the moment.
