Sad sad news to hear Colin McRae and his 5year old son and two family friends have died in a helicopter accident near to his home.
Colin was pretty much the main reason I got so into motorsport as a spotty young teenager.
Sad loss and RIP.

Oh no you are joking * shakes head *
When are celbrities gonna learn that flying from A to B is'nt always the safest way . Look at all the singers we have lost.
Was'nt there another rally driver that died some time back ?
And just as Dirt had come out , or has it.
=.^o^.= Nooo !

Tragic.
There seems to have been an incredible amount of accidents this weekend...
Basscadet: Dirt has been out for a while now. Had a few blasts in honour of McRae last night.

truly shocking stuff
another legend disappears, his wife must devastated at losing their son and what sounds likely to be the friends she would have turned to
Dave Richards of Prodrive had a real close one in a helicopter yesterday as well, pilot managed to land it on its side !!!

I cannot believe how bad this year has been for disasters of all types.
Legspin came up with some other guy but I did have Beefy Burns in mind.
Way too many Helicopters and aeroplanes are falling out of the sky.

Richard Burns died of a brain tumour. He was 34. Little coverage on the news 'coz it was the same day as George Best.
Bertie Fisher was a driver from Enniskillen in Co. Fermanagh in Northern Ireland who won many rallies in this part of the world. He died following a helicopter crash that killed two of his adult children and seriously injuring his wife and one other of his children. He competed in several rallies in Britain with a fair degree of success.

The similarity of these fatal disasters realy is scary.
Ha
We almost lost Dame Shirley Bassey to a freik Monsoon like rainstorm , or maybe it was just because she needed to slip off her wellies and visit the can.
There is a Colin McCrae condolances website , this is the url.
