Wii

Post by Pooka »

I've just purchased my wii today, but I'm not opening it until my boyfriend gets in from work. (I wouldnt know how to wire it up to the tele anyway)
I know a few of you are wii fanatics, so please recommend me some games. I got Bust a Move and Mortal Combat. Has anyone got Supermonkey ball? I have it on game cube already but wondering if its worth getting for the wii.
You look real great.

Ah the wii - what a wicked invention!! I am addicted to Sports (esp. boxing and bowling which I have just turned pro at). Also Sonic and the Secret Rings is another good one, I am finding it quite hard but my 9 year old goddaughter seems to just whizz through the levels :)
life is too good to waste it - so don't :)!!!

Wii sports is excellent! I havent even tried the other games yet but my boyfriend was complaining this morning when he got up that his arms were aching.
I'm so glad I'm off work, I can just play on it all day!
The tennis and baseball are quite hard but the bowling is great.

I like the way you can make a mii, my boyfriends one looks exactly like him, I almost pissed meself.

I think the Wii is a good investment as I'm not going to go out and spend all my money whilst I'm off work.

I haven't bought any games because I'm thinking about the Wiikey... games run €50-60 here for most titles, but it's only €60 to buy a Wiikey and have it installed!

i'm sure we got ours for 8 dollars each. Wiikeys work fine but avoid playing other region games as they can contain patches that will "brick" your wii.

....no no no ... you just download them. Its 8 dollar (or maybe pounds thinking about it) for the Wiikey. You have to fit yourself though.

Ah okay, wasn't sure where you were going with that :) I have a Supercard for my DS Lite, so I know all about downloading games.

The Wiikey on its own costs €35-40 here, and we don't have a triwing screwdriver, so it would probably be easier to pay the €60 and have it all done for us.
