I am going to Wembley to see my beloved Yeovil Town FC play in the league one playoff final after a fantastic 5-2 win at Nottingham Forest last night!!! What a game! I simply cannot believe it!!!

Was watching the match in a small town pub in Andover with a mate...only people watching, by the end of the game I had the entire pub gripped and cheering on the mighty Yeo. I am so proud.

Hangover from hell but just cant stop smiling!!!

Thanks Gaz, I'm still in utter shock that I am going to see my team play at Wembley...to think that Yeovil only got into the football league 4 years ago and now are pushing for a place in the championship. Its a fantastic achievement.

Eeeeee iiiiiiiiiii eeeeee iiiiiiiiii ooooooo,
Up the football league we go,
and when we get promotion,
this is what we'll sing,
We are Yeovil we are Yeovil,
Sladey is our King!

AFC Bournemouth played Grimsby Town at Wembley in 1999 I think and it was wicked.
30,000 people from Bournemouth were there and everywhere I looked I knew someone.
We lost of course but it was the first and best footie match I ever went to.

They are scum as well.

We were sat with mainly Chelsea fans - my Dad (70 years old, walking stick) shouted out something to the ref after he didn't give a decision to Man U and a thug turned round to him with a menacing "What's your problem, mate?", presumably because my dad's comment could be construed as anti-Chelsea.

And there were a few other arguments around aboot the place and abuse aimed at any Man United (Munich stuff, so nothing subtle...) or neutral fans who dared say anything.

I know they are not all like that and I am not generalising, but based on the people sitting near us...

Well I am happy to say to say that Yeovil is a friendly club coming from a humble background so none of that should make its way to Wembley....especially towards a 70 year old. Thats just disgraceful!

I hope your Dad sorted out the "fan" with his stick!

Don't be too sad Willsy, they would only have become a Yeo-Yeo club...

Nah I'm not too sad, just a little disappointed we didnt play like we did against Forest in the semi finals...we looked burnt out and tired and Blackpool looked really good and organised.

I know it sounds abit like "oh yeah willsy, you wanted to go up really" but I'm actually glad we didnt get promoted this year. Yeovil were in the conference 4 years ago and have done amazingly well to get where they are today but I dont believe are ready for championship football yet. I'd rather another great season in league one than a struggle in the 2nd tier.
