Scott Walker's "Meltdown" project

The Music Discussion forum has replaced the old Lyrics and Samples forum and the Live Scene and Music Reviews forum. This forum is used to discuss anything relating to Music including Orbital topics, the live scene including Orbital gigs past, present and future. This section is an ideal place to post your live gigs reviews and album / single reviews. This forum can also be used to discuss Orbital lyrics and samples. The website will never disclose or confirm samples for legal reasons - so this is the next best thing.

Which we lost...
Slugs! HE created slugs! They can't hear. They can't speak. They can't operate machinery. Are we not in the hands of a lunatic?

Nah, it's only Soccer in America - football everywhere else in the world!
Actually Nick that's not strictly true. Anywhere association football is not the major field sport it is called soccer. Here and Australia spring instantly to mind. We have Gaelic Football and to us we drop the Gaelic. Australia has Aussie Rules, or footie in the vernacular. I have a feeling tis' the same in Sth Africa where thanks to apartheid, rugby until recently was the predominant field game. :D

Very true! :D Everywhere else in Europe, it's known as football, though?

Ah well, doesn't matter - we still lost that day, but it was a good crowd! 8)

The Coral Sea 0 Text: Patti Smith Music: Patti Smith, Kevin Shields, Cat Power (Queen Elizabeth Hall, 22)
A homage to Bertolt Brecht. Feat. Patti Smith, Antony, Dresdon Dolls, Marc Almond, Neil Finn, Tim Finn, London Sinfonietta and more (Royal Festival Hall, 23)

That Jimi Hendrix one sounds good, as well as The Coral one (featuing Kevin Shields of My Bloody Valentine) :D

Yes nick, kevin shields is indeed a bit of a legend.

Great memories of a fantastic band.
Actually, they seem to have spawned a few clones in recent years.
