I'd actually like to be going and if I wasn't going to a recording of this week's edition of 'Mock the Week', I'd be there too...

After much deliberation, I have decided not to go as by all accounts the chosen route to Camden is a veritable disaster.

I am not willing to take the risk of a) missing the gig due to rush hour havoc and b) getting back to bournemouth and not getting enough rest to start work at 7.

I hope you all enjoy it.

That's a shame - would the option of crashing oot in London help with your logistics at all?

Unfortunately not Gaz. I have to work tomorrow and I have no holiday left to take.

I do really want to go but my friend who lives near Richmond (where I was due to drive up, then catch the tube) and who I was gonna watch the gig with says its utter chaos. It took her ages to get back from work (shepherds Bush) last night and said that the "Silverline" (the route we were planning) had been suspended and that she was already 2 hours late for work this morning!

Nah.
At least I have Bestival to look forward to this weekend. Thats some consolation.

Yep, it was good.

The dancier tunes sounded better in that venue, i.e. Gloopy, Patchwork etc.....

The acoustic instuments would be better suited for a concert hall, it would be fantastic to see PH at the festival hall or royal albert hall.

Still, all good though.
