I was listening to gynase the other day and I wasn't that impressed, quite boring I thought - and I didn't think that much of Fyuti either. A bit disappointing having loved 'Soup' and the awesome Shapes. Just wondered what you all think...

Yup, spot on Dan... 'Soup' is by far his best work!

Yep, I must agree - Shapes and Soup are definitely his best works IMO. I don't think all that much of Fyuti, but I've been giving Gnayse a bit more of my time recently and it's grown on me quite a bit, so I now like it more than I thought!
Nothing he does will ever beat Forcasa 3 though....

i cant say i dislike "Gnayse" but it really doesnt inspire me to keep playing it. All the others i like. I think his output may slow down even more now he has a young un to look after

Until I read Rach's post above, it had never occured to me that he did this with his album titles:
Bola soup, Bola Gnayse (ha ha!) I get them - at last.
Yeah, yeah I know I'm blonde and all
But I still don't get Bola forcassa 3 and Bola Fyuti or am I just being even dumber...?

oh my gosh, Jane, I didnt even get the gnayse one till you said that!!
Dont think Forcasa 3 or Fyuti has any meaning, unless I am being really thick, but I will repeat them to myself for the rest of the day just incase anything comes up...

Think that Fyuti might have something to do with football?
Best ones have to be "Bola - KS" (b*ll*cks) and "Bola - Mauver" (bowl 'em over)
(Forcasa might have something to do with a combination of swear words, but that's just me wasting time on a Monday afternoon)!

I thought fyuti was a play on the word fruit, ie bowl of fruit
Isn't it only the album titles that have the play on words and that forcassa 3 is just a track name with nothing else meant by it?

Are u being serious Dan?!! I can be let off for being dumb, I only have Soup on CD from u & only ever (rarely) read about Bola stuff here. You're supposed to be a big fan LOL

[with apologies for being a right "anorak" now...]
I'm afraid I sent Cheese barking up the wrong tree with the Fyuti explanation. I was
convinced that I'd read somewhere the meaning was "bowl of fruit", but on further investigation on a dedicated Bola/Jello fanpage the explanation is indeed "Footie-baller", so seems Nick was correct!
(sorry Cheesy Peas)
