Shades of 'Smalltown Boy' by Bronski Beat in there...

Also sounds like a MIDI file, especially the drums/percussion.

Nah. Listen carefully to the drums. They ain't GM. The kick and snare are typical mid-era Orbital... There's too much quality to them to be midi. The flute sound is also pretty high quality - reminds me of an EMU Proteus which had a very similar timbre.

Very nice. I could listen to an album worth of that...

Relevant words being 'sounds like'... :P

I like it... Not amazing, but not crap either. Looking forward to the album, although I am hoping for more stuff along the lines of 'Ignition' and 'Boot Up'.

This is more or less what i was expecting from Paul; heavily influenced by Soundtracks (I can def hear shades of Morricone and Williams in there).

I am surprised by the reaction. I still think it sounds superb :D

I can see why it could be borderline cheese, but its hitting the right buttons for me. Sweepy swirly niceness.

hear hear, i'm with ya all the way on that comment

Have to admit, i really quite like it.

I know we're all after Orbital V2 but i personally do think Longrange are more likely to fulfill that requirement and then some,
whereas Paul as always gonna surprise us with some thing abit new
