"Greedy Baby, the much talked-about audio/visual project from Plaid will be released by Warp on 26th June.

Produced with collaborator-in-chief Bob Jaroc, the pieces were first presented as part of the Ether Festival 2004 in a very raw form. They have since undergone substantial evolution via an eye-popping showing at the Waterloo IMAX cinema.

Greedy Baby will appear as a DVD + CD pack. The DVD will feature the films and the specially recorded music in 5.1 sound. The CD will include the album in good ol' fashioned stereo. "

i'm guessing it's implied that as one of the dates says (dj andy) then the other dates are all live... i'm just confirming that the nottingham one is live anyway, 'cos it says so on the posters

Also in Eindhoven June 8 - yay!

They're also doing something at the Brighton Festival... the Warp page says May 10, then May 14, then the Brighton Festival page says it's May 24... who knows.

World premiere
Part commissioned by Brighton Festival

Isn't it time you stood up for dance!

Contemporary dance meets electronica stars from the cult indie dance music label Warp Records in a unique Brighton Festival cross-cultural collaboration for the post rave, post everything generation.

Part dance performance, part club night, Warp Moves features the world premiere of an exclusive Brighton Festival commission by Wayne McGregor's pioneering dance innovators Random Dance (resident company at Sadler's Wells), and seminal electronica mavericks Plaid, one of the cornerstones of the Warp roster.

The evening also includes new dance interpretations from rising star of British choreography Darren Johnston and his cutting-edge company Array to music by Aphex Twin and beat-boxing soul sensation Jamie Lidell.

Blistering live sets from Lidell and Plaid (the latter alongside Brighton-based video artist Bob Jaroc) offer the final word in a revolutionary new dialogue between music, dance and multimedia. Warp Moves - making dance for music and music for dance!
